Heavy Wall Heat Shrink Tubing
The heavy wall heat shrink tube is produced with an adhesive layer that adds a waterproof seal to the stress relief the pipe provides.When heated (usually just below the activation temperature of heat shrink tubing), the inner layer begins to flow (just like hot melt glue).As the tubing shrinks and cools, the inner layer forms a bonding layer between the tubing and the components or wires.This provides a watertight seal, protecting connectors and/or wires in direct burial and submerged applications.
